Naval Aircreman, Tactical Helicopter Master Chief (Retired) David W. Crossan is a native of Huntington, WV. He served the United States Navy for over 30 years, deploying with 10 Detachments while on Sea-Duty from Jacksonville, Florida, Norfolk, Virginia and Forward Deployed Navy Forces. During his career, he served as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor, Recruiter, Recruiter in Charge, as well as the Chief of Naval Operations Search and Rescue Model Manager, the West and East Coast FRS Leading Chief Petty Officer, Commander Helicopter Maritime Strike (HSM) Wing, Pacific, and Atlantic Operations, both as the AWR Ratings HSM Community Leader.

His Navy career awards include: Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (1 gold star), Navy Achievement Medal (1 silver star) as well as numerous other campaign and service awards. He retired on 01 April 2019, and resides in Morganton, NC with his wife Dr. Rebecca Crossan, and their five children, David Ryan, Dylan, Hayden, Brooke, and Danika. David has been a member of the Naval Helicopter Association for over a decade, additionally serving as a Trustee for the organization. He also is the President of the Oak Hill Fire and Rescue Department Auxiliary, since retiring from Active Duty.
